It is with profound sorrow that the family of the late Katandi Stephen mourns the passing of their beloved daughter-in-law, Nabunya Claire, who departed this life on Sunday, 23rd August 2026, at Mengo Hospital.
Claire’s passing brought deep sorrow to her family, relatives, friends and all who knew her. Though her earthly journey came to an unexpected end, the memories she created and the place she held within the family remain a lasting part of their lives.
Following her passing, family members, relatives, friends and well-wishers gathered in Rubongi Musukire, Tororo District, to mourn her loss, offer comfort to one another and honour her memory.

The final farewell took place at the family’s ancestral home in Musukire Village, Rubongi S/C, Tororo District, where Nabunya Claire was laid to rest.
Family members, relatives, friends and well-wishers gathered to honour her memory and accompany her to her final resting place, bringing her funeral journey to a dignified close.
