A Life That Will Remain in Their Hearts

The family of the late Rev. Erisa Masiga Lwagula is mourning the sudden passing of their beloved son, Wafula Israel Masiga, who passed away on 18th August 2026.

His sudden departure has brought profound sorrow to his family, relatives, friends and in-laws, who are now preparing to accompany him on his final journey. His passing has left loved ones with the difficult task of saying goodbye while holding on to the memories and moments shared with him.

His Final Journey

On Friday, 21st August 2026, the body will be conveyed from BOMA Mortuary, Dabani, to his ancestral home in Nebolola B Village, Hasyule Parish, Lumino Sub-county, Busia District. A vigil will be held at the ancestral home, bringing relatives, friends and in-laws together to mourn, comfort one another and honour his memory.

The final farewell will take place on Saturday, 22nd August 2026, with burial at his ancestral home in Nebolola B Village.

As the family prepares to lay him to rest, the presence, prayers and support of relatives, friends and in-laws will provide comfort during this difficult period.

Remembering His Life

A person’s departure may bring an end to their earthly journey, but it does not erase the memories they leave behind. The stories shared, relationships built and moments cherished become part of the legacy carried forward by those left behind.

Wafula Israel Masiga will be remembered by those who knew him, while his family continues to draw strength from the memories of a life that was part of their shared story.
